The Cimarron Post Office.
(Taken the day of the tornado; by the next morning, the flag had been taken down, and the postal inspectors had moved the mailbox out front to a different location.)

The Rodeo Grounds.
The fencing around the corrals and competition area is still there, but it looks like almost everything else (the grandstands, most of the outbuildings) will have to be rebuilt.

The remains of Simple Simon's Pizza.
My first thought after looking at the front of their lot the day after the tornado was "Well, at least they still have their big kitchen trailer . . . " After the police lines came down the next day, though, I was able to cross around to the other side of the property to see that the back half of that trailer was missing, and that the remnants looked like this.

The car wash and antique store by Russell's.
(Russell's itself had part of its roof torn up, and their big ugly sign on the corner was damaged. The Cree-mee and the Ben Franklin each had a broken window.)

Staff members helping clean up . . .
at the antique store on the corner next to the "Bet-R-Dun" sporting goods store and across the street from the statue of Lucien Maxwell in the city park. The roof was just about torn completely off this building.

Damaged car.
Probably the worst-looking car I saw, but a number of vehicles around town had one/some/all of their windows blown out.

Damaged mobile home.

Overturned mobile home at the west end of town.

Another overturned trailer.
